Many universities and study abroad programs require students to be above 18 years of age. We thought that this was really unfortunate for all of those who want to experience life in Korea, but are still too young - that's why we are offering this Youth Study Trip for ages 14 to 17. It's a chance for those under 18 to experience Korean culture, K-pop and Hallyu, and study the Korean language right here in Seoul. You will be able to study at one of the best private academies in Gangnam, while also experiencing a range of Safe and fun activities. It's the perfect balance between useful Korean study, and all the fun of a vacation in Korea - return home with a bunch of unforgettable memories and a vastly improved Korean ability!
CLASSES FOR ALL LEVELS
This course is available for all students, regardless of their Korean proficiency. You'll be able to study from the stage of a complete beginner all the way to more advanced levels. Learn all four elements behind mastering the Korean language, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
LEARN AND USE IN REAL LIFE
The best part of studying in Korea is the opportunity to practice what you've learned. You have the freedom to go out in the afternoon to apply what was learned in the morning. This would involve ordering food in a restaurant, shopping in a store, and even making Korean friends, all accomplished without your feeling lost in a foreign country. By enrolling in the courses, you'll gain all the skills you need to do what you want!
For total beginners, you'll be able to jumpstart your Korean education with an immersive course that is much faster than simply studying Korean in your home country. You’d begin with the alphabet, then move onto self-introductions, need-to-know words, and grammar. Thereafter, you'll learn phrases, have conversations, and acquire other important knowledge such as how to ask for directions.
After breakfast from Monday to Friday, you will study for 3.5 hours (with breaks in-between!). Classes begin at about 9 in the morning.
STUDENTS WITH PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE
If you've already begun learning the Korean language, or have studied it before, you don't need to spend time relearning things you already know! Join a class level that matches your ability, and improve your Korean from where you left off. Polish and refine what you know, while boosting your knowledge by learning even newer things.
WE'VE PLANNED A LOT OF FUN
With the schedule the way it is, you’ll never feel bored. On the weekdays, we have an activity arranged for you afternoon, and the weekends are packed with fun-filled full day activities.
MODERN SCHOOL IN THE HEART OF SEOUL
Lexis Korea is located in the center of famous Gangnam. It is a place where you can experience a different side to Korea by being in one of Asia's most famous shopping and entertainment areas. From a high-quality education in the morning time to fun times in downtown Gangnam later in the day, you’re guaranteed a wealth of experience!
STUDY WITH INTERNATIONAL PEOPLE
The best part about studying abroad is the chance to form new relationships. With this opportunity to study in Korea, you're certain to meet people from all over the world as well as connect with local Koreans!
For the accommodation, you will stay with a Korean host-family. You will be placed in a house with another Youth Korea student of the same gender. The host family will provide breakfast and evening meals everyday (included in the course fee). You will be able to spend lots of fun times together with your host family, enhancing your Korea experience.
DEDICATED STAFF DURING THE WHOLE COURSE
Enjoy your study trip in peace, knowing that our English speaking staff will be there to support you. Contact us at any time during the course to stay informed, ask questions, and solve a problem you may be having. You will get full-time support from Go! Go! Hanguk, the school, and your host family. Each of our activities will have English-speaking staff, and is designed for youths to explore Korea in a fun and safe environment.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept booking payments both by international bank transfer, or with debit/credit card through PayPal.

Unfortunately, we cannot assist students in applying for such visas.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER HOUSING OPTIONS?
No, for this course all the students are required to stay with Korean host families.
THE TOURS, ARE THEY NARRATED?
Our guided tours are laid back and casual; they do not include narration. However, as we do have Korean natives that come along on our activities, students will be able to mingle and make friends while exploring Korea.
HOW DOES THE ACTUAL GETTING TO KOREA PART WORK?
As each student has different needs and preferences for traveling, Go! Go! Hanguk gives the student full flexibility in choosing their preferred method of arriving in Korea. You will be able to freely choose your city of departure, time of arrival, airline, etc. Note that airfare is not included in the course. Once you arrive, the course and all activities are all arranged and prepared by us.
I'M A PARENT AND I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY UNDERAGE SON/DAUGHTER.
Some cultural activities during the course, albeit in a safe and relaxed environment, does involve being in establishments that serve alcoholic beverages. Not to worry, the legal drinking age in Korea is 19 years old, which means that we will not allow alcohol being served to underage students during any of our events. Korea is one of the safest countries in the world, and we strive to provide a safe environment for all students.
CAN I STAY LONGER WITH THE HOST-FAMILY?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. Every student must leave the family on the last Saturday of the course (12th of August). Go! Go! Hanguk staff will pick you up from your accomodation and guide you to the airport.
IS TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED IN THE ACTIVITIES?
Yes, all the transportation costs are included.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR JOINING THE COURSE?
Yes, students need to be between 14 and 17 years of age at the time of the course start.
