There are various versions, depending on the city where it is eaten. Most often it contains meat (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bulgogi bibimbap<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ubd88\uace0\uae30<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ube44\ube54\ubc25<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), but the version with vegetables only (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\uc57c\ucc44<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">yachae<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) and possibly egg, is also one of the most popular and widely eaten. Bibimbap is a <\/span><b>rice dish <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">covered with various ingredients arranged by type to create a harmony of colours. Vegetables usually include mushrooms, soya bean sprouts, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kimchi<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, carrots and courgettes. It can also be accompanied by hot sauce or soy sauce.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yachae Gimbap (\uc57c\ucc44 \uae40\ubc25)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gimbap<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is also a traditional Korean dish and there are various versions. It is<\/span><b> a roll of seaweed and rice <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the centre of which various fillings can be found. The most common types of gimbap are those stuffed with meat and vegetables, tuna and vegetables, or just vegetables. Some also tend to put egg and\/or cheese. It is<\/span><b> sweet potato starch noodles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> cooked in a pan with vegetables and seasoned with soy sauce, sesame oil and pepper. There is also a version with meat, but the most common type is the one without meat. It is often served in small quantities together with other <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">banchan<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ubc18\ucc2c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the side dishes included in the service), but it can also be ordered as a main dish.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kimchi jeon (\uae40\uce58\uc804)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jeon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are<\/span><b> Korean pancakes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with vegetables, meat or fish. They are often eaten on rainy days accompanied by <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">makgeolli<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ub9c9\uac78\ub9ac<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Korean rice wine). The two most common versions of jeon are seafood jeon (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">haemul pajeon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud574\ubb3c<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud30c\uc804<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kimchi<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> jeon (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kimchi-jeon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\uae40\uce58\uc804<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), which is a vegetarian food in Korea. While the dishes mentioned can be vegetarian (of course, if you make the appropriate requests), jeon contains egg right in the batter, so a vegan version is not possible.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sundubu jjigae (\uc21c\ub450\ubd80 \ucc0c\uac1c)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sundubu jjigae<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a very <\/span><b>spicy soup with soft tofu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sundubu<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) served in a boiling stone bowl. Although it is technically not a dish with animal ingredients, many restaurants tend to use meat broth to prepare it.
