This gives students the chance to study at one of Korea\u2019s top tertiary institutions, which welcomes around 10,000 foreign students each year.<\/p>\n<p>Importantly, this program does not require your home university or college to have a formal agreement with Hanyang University in order to participate in the program.<\/p>\n<p>There are<strong> two start terms<\/strong> &#8211; March and September.<\/p>\n<h2><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16366\" src=\"https:\/\/gogohanguk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/20180524-0137.jpg\" alt=\"Hanyang Visiting Program\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>Can I earn credits?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Yes! Although we would recommend you <strong>double-check with your home university<\/strong> or college first to make sure they will accept those credits.<\/p>\n<p>There are <strong>two course options<\/strong> available:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>The<\/strong> <strong>university course<\/strong>, which you can take in English or Korean. You can choose from any of the 124 departments. There are more than 1000 courses available in English.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Korean language course<\/strong>:<br \/>\n&#8211; Introductory Korean: twice a week for 3 credits.<br \/>\n&#8211; Intensive Korean: 5 times a week for 13 credits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can take up to 20 credits per semester. There is no minimum credit amount.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What do I need to apply to the Visiting Program?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Students need to be enrolled in a university or college and they should ideally have completed one semester at their home university or college before participating in this program.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>documents<\/strong> you will need for your Visiting Program application are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Passport ID Photo<\/li>\n<li>Scanned copy of your passport information page<\/li>\n<li>Official transcript from your home university<\/li>\n<li>Bank statement showing the equivalent of US$4000 for every term you apply for<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance certificate with international coverage for the period of your study<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Hanyang University will sponsor a <strong>D-2-8 student visa<\/strong> for the Visiting Program in Korea. <a href=\"https:\/\/gogohanguk.com\/en\/#form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">We will help you<\/a> with this process, so don\u2019t worry!<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16357\" src=\"https:\/\/gogohanguk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/2-20180402-0028.jpg\" alt=\"Hanyang Visiting Program\" width=\"1000\" height=\"655\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>Application period<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>For the March term, students need to apply between October and November. For the September term, they should apply between April and May.<\/p>\n<p>You will need all the documents listed above and be able to<strong> pay the total tuition fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Go! Hanguk can support you in the application process for no extra cost.<\/strong> We will make sure you have all the right documentation so you can worry less about the application process.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Cost of the Visiting Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Tuition for the Hanyang University Visiting Program in Korea is <strong>KRW4,000,000 per semester<\/strong>. This includes a KRW200,000 application fee and KRW3,800,000 tuition fee.<\/p>\n<p>Note that all fees go to Hanyang University, however the application fee is paid to Go! Go! Hanguk.
