Since 2002, Hongik University’s International Language Institute has welcomed learners from over 30 countries to this dynamic area. Hongik uses a well-structured textbook that reflects the latest issues and is tailored to students’ learning levels. The nearby Hongik Univ. Station, where Subway Line 2, the Gyeongui–Jungang Line, and the Airport Railroad converge, serves as a major transportation hub, offering easy access from anywhere in Seoul.

The regular course is a 10-week program per term, consisting of levels 1 (beginner) to 6 (advanced). Classes are held every Monday to Friday, for 4 hours every day. The first and second periods (2 hours) focus on grammar, writing and the third and fourth periods (2 hours) focus on reading and listening, using the grammar learned earlier.
Without a student visa: 3 months
With a student visa: 6 – 24 months
