Coming to Korea and studying the language has been a goal of mine since I was 13 years old, so you can imagine how exciting this opportunity was for me! I joined the beginning level offered at Hanyang’s Intensive Korean Program and immediately found a home amongst other foreigners. The special thing about our class was that we took time once a week to go out to eat and practice our Korean in an informal setting! My teacher came and joined us once in a while as well. At the end of the summer, we were all friends and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of peers! I’m incredibly blessed to have been able to explore thanks to Go! Go! Hanguk. They helped me achieve a life long dream of studying abroad in my favorite country and their staff was incredibly helpful in the process. It was my first time ever traveling by myself and three months in a long time to be in a foreign country but they made the experience less stressful by helping me, whether it be for school or medical paperwork that I encountered. I can’t wait to come back in the future!
