Beginners start with the fundamentals of the Korean language, mastering Hangul (Korean alphabet) and basic pronunciation. They acquire essential greetings, introductions, and vocabulary for everyday conversations, setting the groundwork for further learning.
Learners build foundational grammar and vocabulary, enabling them to engage in simple conversations about daily activities, preferences, and future plans. They develop basic reading and listening skills to understand short texts and dialogues in Korean.
Progressing to elementary proficiency, learners express opinions, make suggestions, and narrate past experiences using more complex grammar and vocabulary. They practice reading longer texts and listening to spoken Korean to improve comprehension and communication skills.
Intermediate learners deepen their understanding of Korean grammar, expanding their vocabulary and language functions for various social and practical situations. They engage in discussions, debates, and presentations to enhance fluency and expression.
Advancing to upper-intermediate proficiency, learners refine their language skills with advanced grammar structures, idiomatic expressions, and formal language styles. They analyze authentic texts and media to strengthen comprehension and cultural understanding.
Mastering advanced proficiency at the C1 level, learners demonstrate a high level of fluency and accuracy in Korean. They engage in complex discussions, debates, and presentations on a wide range of topics. They refine their writing skills for academic, professional, and creative purposes, demonstrating cultural insight and nuanced language use.
At the C2 level, learners achieve mastery of the Korean language, demonstrating near-native fluency and cultural competency. They engage in advanced academic research, professional communication, and creative expression in Korean. They contribute to Korean-language media, literature, and academic discourse, showcasing their expertise and creativity in the language.
